  • Icy Sparks by Gwyn Hyman Rubio (A young girl in the South with Tourette's without a diagnosis)
  • The Exile of Sara Stevenson by Darci Hannah (A great read)
  • The Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton (I loved it... Like the Secret Garden but I loved the characters and the twists and turns)
  • Charlie Bone (I have read up through Book Four now... Ben loves the series but I tire... )
  • The Antelope Wife by Louise Erdich (TRIED to finish it. Will go back to it...)
  • Swamplandia! by Karen Russell (STRANGE, disturbing and oddly charming)
  • To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee (in tandem with Max who must read this for his schoolwork...)
  • Rise and Shine by Anna Quindlen (one of my favorite authors but this one wasn't my favorite either)
  • State of Wonder by Ann Patchett (vivid and engaging but not my favorite of her books)
  • Liars and Saints by Maile Meloy (lovely, sad and complete)
  • Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn (could NOT put it down... so eeeeevvvvvilllll!)
  • Midnight for Charlie Bone by Jenny Nimmo (Ben is reading this series and begged me to read them with him. Can't say they are brilliant but I sort of enjoyed the first and second book so far...)
  • Broken Harbor by Tana French (Totally engaging, couldn't put it down. A haunting, disturbing book - like the other 3)
  • Light Between Oceans by M.L. Stedman (SO good, so sad. Highly recommend)
